Excalibur Extrusions has been making plastic cores for over thirty-five years. We make plastic cores in custom sizes from 1/16” to over 8.5” and we make plastic cores with wall thickness ranging from .025” to over .500” We can cut plastic film cores to any length and any color. Excalibur extruded plastic cores come in almost any material including polyethylene, HDPE (high density polyethylene), polypropylene, ABS, polystyrene, and PVC (polyvinyl chloride).

If you have not made up your mind on the advantages of plastic cores, consider that plastic cores are moisture resistant and hygienically sound. Plastic cores will reduce dust contamination and are stronger than fiber cores. A plastic core is dimensionally stable under humid conditions, can be sterilized and is seamless. And finally, plastic cores are reusable and recyclable. We’ll even recycle our plastic cores.
