UV & ALGAE RESISTANT
The
flex hose offers more flexibility, durability and shock resistance to an irrigation system than standard PVC pipe can provide. The Algae Resistant heavy-duty pipe can also be used for risers or swing joints and the heavy wall thickness makes tight bends possible without kinking. We carry Black and Brown, in Diameters of ½” to 1”.

PRESSURE RATING:
The Society of Plastics Industry due to the many variables that affect a non-rigid product, such as temperature, elasticity, etc, has not established pressure ratings for non-reinforced flexible vinyl hose.
Several of the large manufacturers of industrial non-reinforced clear vinyl tubing use working pressures that are calculated at a 1:5 ratio relative to burst pressure.
Excalibur has tested our hose at 50 PSI for 60 minutes @ 73° when tested in accordance with ASTM D 1598.
* Note: Excalibur’s IPS Flex Hose is designed for irrigation systems. It is not for use indoors or for static pressure (no-flow) conditions or for hot water or as potable water service pipe. Use caution in above ground applications, as the pipe could be subjected to higher operating temperatures. High temperatures will greatly reduce pressure-holding capacity.
