	Excalibur Extrusions, Inc has provided custom extruded plastic components to diversified industries with demanding requirements for over thirty years. Our Southern California facility serves as both our corporate headquarters and our manufacturing site where high quality custom extrusions are produced around the clock in large volumes.
For over thirty years we have refined the extruded plastic process into a precise methodology. The extruded plastic process utilizes a precision ground and honed hardened extruder barrel. The barrel is matched with polished ground chromed extrusion screw.
	Extruded Plastic Die
Together these components heat, mix, melt and push thermo plastic material through our precision custom dies mounted on the extruder exit point.
These progressive dies are designed to provide proper combination of back pressure and progressive cross sectional sizing to match the customer’s end product specification. Once the shape has been established the material is then passed through temperature controlled cooling medium to reduce the temperature of the polymer at the precise rate to avoid crystallization and maximize throughout. The extruded plastic is then subject to in-line and post manufacture fabrication as specified by the engineering specifications.
	Excalibur Extrusions will engineer from specifications a unique die, to achieve the extruded plastic you need. The die is produced to exacting specifications and is made to fit our extruder. The die is then kept in our archive for further orders to make certain that the extruded plastic is readily reproducible. We are experts in enclosed shapes. Our custom extruding equipment will produce consistent, tight tolerance for both regular and irregular polygons and other shapes.

Once the design is finalized, our production staff then takes over and the real work begins. We will have the custom die created, the custom color is selected, and the proper materials are then gathered to produce the desired custom extruded part. We then complete your order in a timely manner. Our engineered process is tuned to provide short lead times.
