Need visibility? Clear pipe is the answer

Clear PVC pipe is the right choice for when you need to visually monitor whatever is passing through the pipe, as it passes through - to determine direction of flow or color of the fluid, for example. 

Because it is transparent, clear PVC pipe is convenient for clean room applications, sight tube or glass, or virtually any application where visibility is essential. With Excalibur’s Clear PVC Technicians can look through the clear pipe and oversee the process - no need to open the piping system. Clear PVC can be used just like conventional PVC pipe and can be incorporated into existing PVC systems via the solvent cement joining process.

Advantages of clear PVC:

• High gloss and clarity.
• Usable with standard pipe fittings.
• Physical properties are the same as a standard Schedule 40 PVC system.

Specifications:

Made from PVC 2110-2116 meeting ASTM D 1786 and  ASTM D 1785, Products Standard 21-70. The material used to manufacture the SCH 40 and CL 100 Clear PVC is a food grade extrusion-molding compound with indoor UV resistance properties, high gloss, and clarity. This material is formulated with an FDA approved tin stabilizer to meet the 21CFR 178.2650 food additive regulation, and is produced under stringent manufacturing conditions limiting RVCM to minimum levels. Not suitable for contact with liquid milk, malt beverages, or non-alcoholic carbonated beverages.
