Better Flexibility Than Galvanized Or Rigid PVC Swing Joint Assemblies

Excalibur Flexible PVC Nipples: 

  •  Used With Flush or Pop Up Lawn Heads

  •  Installed Vertically or Horizontally

  •  Helps Prevent Breakage From Impact

Note: Excalibur Flexible PVC nipples, Patent #3,759445. are assembled using Excalibur hose meeting ASTM D-2287, Cell# 6464500 meeting or exceeding Cell# 5360500 as specified by Cal Trans. Sch 40 PVC fittings meet ASTM D-2466.

  IPS Size Flexible Nipples:

 

  • Sizes from 1/2”, 3/4”, to 1” pipe diameter. 

  • Any combination of fittings. 

  • Any lengths needed!

  • Tested at 200 PSI static pressure for 2 hours. 

  • Quick burst test exceeds 400 PSI.  

 

 

 

 

Flex PVC

Installation Instructions:

  1.  If system is to be pressure tested, this must be done before installation of the flex nipples or damage to flex nipples could result.

  2. Do not install under constant static pressure conditions such as under quick couplers or valve in head sprinklers.

  3. When installing sprinkler heads on flex risers to be sure to hold the flex riser with a wrench so that the nipple is not twisted when tightening heads. 

Spring Back Flex RisersSpring Back Flex Risers:

  • Spring back to original position after impact

  • 1/2" Heavy Wall Flex PVC Tube

  • Successfully tested at over 150 PSI

  • Made from .187” diameter. (OTMB) spring wire. 

  • Have an inside diameter. of .910” a pitch of .475”  

  • Have squared ends.
